MICROSOFT EDGE ENTERPRISE NEW TAB PAGE
You know how when we open a new tab on Edge, there are a bunch of ads and stories that you don’t care for, especially when you’re working? Well, there’s an alternative for that if that Edge browser is signed in with your company’s M365 account. Instead of trying to configure Intune to open a new tab as blank on Edge, I think this is a good option for a new tab since it brings up work-related information and looks more professional.
Surprisingly, this is not an Intune settings but a settings on the M365 Admin Center.
How to make Work Feed the default tab
The user can manually select Work Feed tab, which will set it as default, and the new tab page will remember it for the next time the user opens a new tab.
Another way is for tenant admins to make the change on the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, which will create an org-wide change.
Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center
Go to Settings > Org settings > News

In the Search bar type News and press EnterUnselect Show My Feed content on the Microsoft Edge new tab page
Select Users default to Work feed
Click Save
CAUTION:
This change is org-wide if performed on the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
Since it’s not an Intune configuration, the device doesn’t need to be enrolled to Intune to see the change. Users will see the change regardless if they are on their work or personal computer if they sign into Edge using their work or school account.
You must use Microsoft Edge version 87.0 or newer to change settings for the Microsoft Edge new tab page.
